Guest guest
My father has worn out the cartilage in his hip (it's mostly gone) and he has scheduled a hip replacement in the middle of October. He currently consumes a SAD. I'm flying out to be with him and put him on a raw food diet in hopes of helping his condition. I'd like him to not have the surgery and try alternative therapies if available. He is open to it. Does anyone have any stories, recommendations, or info on cartilage regeneration? Thanks, Tim
Guest guest
It's my--and many others'--firm belief that " only the body can heal the body " . Thus the best way to heal is to get out of the body's way to let it heal itself. In the vast majority of cases, the best way to do that is to fast--rest as much as possible. I suggest talking to folks at TanglewoodWellnessCenter.com, where they supervise fasts, and the people who run the place are raw vegans.
