Vancouver, BC, raw foods support

Someone in Vancouver, BC, would like information on raw foods support

in his area or northwest WA state. He is facing a major health

condition and is only newly exploring raw foods living. Stores that

support raw foods choices, medical/health consultants incorporating

raw living, raw foods teacher/chefs, potlucks, etc., would be most

helpful.

Also, who is the author in Stanwood, WA, who wrote about his

overcoming of cancer with raw foods living? Please advise about his

book and/or his contact information, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Good Question! I'm in Bellingham and would like to know of raw food

restaurants in Vancouver and retailors, but have not yet found out.

You can tell your friend there is a group list for Bellingham, :

RawBellingham/ , but it is not that

active. There is some local market info on that list.

I think hightly of Ann Wigmore's program in PuertoRico. That is where

I would recommend someone go to learn and transiton to raw if they can

swing it. Here is her website :http://annwigmore.org/

There is also a great teacher of raw foods in Bellingam named Lorraine

Barnes. If he goes to the Bellingham list, he can email her from there

and ask about private lessons. Plus there is Shari Viger who is north

of Seattle (ID- shavig), who does classes.

Encourage your friend to attend some potlucks!
