Guest guest
Hi Christy, On flights where there are restrictions at the destination concerning raw food, you might still take at least a little bit with you on the plane. If the served food is inedible, you will have at least a little to eat, and if you have some leftover and are forced to toss it in the dumpster, you won't loose much. Airports aren't the greatest place to find raw food, and so it could be quite a while after the plane lands before your next meal. If you eat some of your food just before the plane lands, you will have that much more time before you have to find the next meal. This could easily make a big difference in how pleasant this part of the trip turns out to be. Coping with airports, transportation, and housing issues on an empty stomach is way down towards the bottom of the list of fun things to do, so I always carry snacks with me May your day be filled with clarity, grace, progress, and warm laughter, Roger - " Christy Nieto " <christynieto <RawSeattle > Monday, June 13, 2005 12:51 AM RE: [RawSeattle] Digest Number 1336 > I'm enjoying all of the replies regarding flight meals... i'll be sure to > report back regarding what we get served; however, will certainly pack our > own food!
