OT: Howard Lyman to speak tonight in Seattle

Howard is a very interesting speaker and has spoken at the

International Raw and Living Foods festival in the past. He, at one

time, was even up to eating 70% of his diet in raw foods! He'll be

speaking tonight. (Sorry for the late notice.)

Howard Lyman is the founder of Voice for a Viable Future, and author

of Mad Cowboy: Plain Truth from the Cattle Rancher Who Won't Eat

Meat. Howard will be presented by Aadil Palkhivala, a world renowned

yoga master and Director of Yoga Centers in Bellevue, WA, and

co-founder of Eastern Essence Organic Foods. Also speaking before

Howard will be Dr. Vivek Shanbhag, Director of The Ayurvedic Academy.

All speakers will share their work, their passions, and their visions

for a healthy, sustainable future. There will also be local health

and veggie orientated businesses as well as local non-profit

organizations to provide information to consumers about organic foods

and alternative health care, diet and lifestyle. There will also be

live drumming and dancing provided by Rhythm Church and Janelle

Campoverde.

The event is free to the public with a suggested donation of $5 at the door.

Yes, Howard Lyman is a fantastic speaker. Anyone who hasn't heard him shouldn't

miss this opportunity to enjoy his talk. He's a natural born speaker. His talk

is not only educational but also as entertaining as a standup talk show.

 

I just saw the flyer poster in UW yesterday and was gonna post it here this

morning.
