X-ray exposure from dental pictures are very minimal if proper

precautons are taken. See

For legal and insurance reasons I doubt that you will find any dentist who

will routinely not x-ray. They would probably be putting their license at

risk. You might find one willing to do it if you offer to sign a waiver

absolving him or her of all responsibility. But even then it might be a

tough sell. My dentist, Rick Stickney, uses some kind of light tool

(laser?) to detect decay, but he still uses x-rays too, because he says that

the light thing hasn't reached the point where it can detect all the stuff

that an x-ray can. But he claims to use the lowest radiation x-rays

available.

Thank you Roger for Dr Paul Rubin.Thank you very much.I am from Bulgaria and

there dentists do not do X-rays,only if it is absolutly necessary.
