Guest guest
X-ray exposure from dental pictures are very minimal if proper precautons are taken. See http://www.school-for-champions.com/health/xrays.htm for more information. Guest guest
For legal and insurance reasons I doubt that you will find any dentist who will routinely not x-ray. They would probably be putting their license at risk. You might find one willing to do it if you offer to sign a waiver absolving him or her of all responsibility. But even then it might be a tough sell. My dentist, Rick Stickney, uses some kind of light tool (laser?) to detect decay, but he still uses x-rays too, because he says that the light thing hasn't reached the point where it can detect all the stuff that an x-ray can. But he claims to use the lowest radiation x-rays available.
