Guest guest Posted March 23, 2005 Report Share Posted March 23, 2005 After a winter of outrageous prices for organic strawberries (many of them far from deep red), Central Market (Shoreline) has a reasonable early-season price for them: $2.98 for one pound. And they are nice and red. I'm having a strawberry/pineapple smoothie right now! I've missed strawberries and took advantage of the price drop. It sure beats $5.95 for 8 ounces! The berries at CM in Mill Creek were very good looking and all looked ripe. I bought two boxes and of course one didn't make it home!
