Trip to Vancouver, BC

Hi friends,

 

Jeff, Orion, Nicole and I, and possibly Rick, will be heading up to

Vancouver, BC Saturday morning. We haven't set the exact time yet.

We'll probably agree on specifics at tomorrow's Chaco Canyon dinner.

One main attraction for us is the special tropical fruits available

in Vancouver's Chinatown--fruits like rambutan, mangosteen, and never-

frozen durian! There's also a raw cafe in town we may visit.

There's a household that hosts raw potlucks up there, and they have

OK'd our overnight stay. Not sure how many extra people could fit,

but there's room for more. So who else is interested in joining us?

So there won't be a potluck in your house this Saturday, right? I would like to

go but not this time. I'm going to a folk dance.

FYI, there are ranbutans and mangosteens in our Chinatown here in Seattle. There

are also brown sapotes but those I bought last time, more than a week ago didn't

ripe well.
