Guest guest
Worldfest (http://worldfestevents.com) is major vegetarian event that used to be at the end of September every year. They moved it to April (it should be a bit cooler). The last time I was there they had at least 2 raw food booths in their food court, which is amazing for a non-raw event. The food was quite good! The event is fun. There are celebrity vegetarian speakers and vegetarian speakers (such as John Robins, Howard Lyman, etc., though I don't know this year's speakers yet.) They also have Lots of singers and bands (http://worldfestevents.com/bands.html), and of course the food booths. I am considering driving down. I could more likely justify it if I had people sharing expenses with me (gas/hotel, etc.) I would certainly plan a trip to Juliano's RAW for a meal (or two) while down there. And, maybe, we could arrange one or five of those organic raw durians the LA raw community has been getting! I would probably drive down Friday 4/15 and drive back Monday 4/18. I'm guessing gas would be about $100 each way (at $2.20/gal). I'd welcome extra for car depreciation, but that's not required. I'd certainly love the company for a raw road trip! Who would like to go? (first come first served!)
