Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Happy holidays from Chaco Canyon! Thank you all to everyone who made it to the Thanksgiving celebration here -- we filled up four seatings over two days and they had a truly festive and communal feel to them. We will be holding our next Special Dinner in January and are skipping December. In lieu of a December dinner, we are excited to be hosting our first ever Raw Holiday Potluck here at the cafe! The date will be Friday the 17th of December from 5pm to 9pm, here at the cafe. The event is free and open to anyone who would like to come and experience the communal feel of a Raw Food Potluck. We will still be serving juices and such from our normal menu, if you want to purchase any of that. There is no need to RSVP -- just come on by! -- though if you are going to attend, it would be nice to get an email so we can best estimate numbers. Please bring " whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic plantlife " . If you don't know what to bring, but are still interested in coming, just bring a bowl of fruit or greens. Please do not feel you cannot come if you don't have some impressive raw dish in hand -- your presence is the most important thing. If you do decide to whip up a more complicated dish, please adhere to the following: Any items that are dehydrated, contain honey, salt(s), spice(s), oil(s), and/or vinegar should be labeled accordingly. Should an item contain nuts and/or seeds please label the variety and whether or not they were soaked. Organic items are always preferred. Listing your recipe and or where you acquired your whole food item is always appreciated. Feel free to bring any food-prep books, recipes, dietary literature, and any other information that would be of interest to everyone. Thanks everyone for a wonderful 2004 and we look forward to seeing you soon!!!
