Guest guest
Recently I asked for help obtaining a wonderful raw mock food dish receipe for Thanksgiving. Is there no one who will help? I find it fascinating that on this raw food web site such a request has generated absolutely no help. Is it any wonder why some are unwilling to make the switch? Guest guest
Kevin, if you are open to non-superl... non-sup... non-superl... non-excellent/supreme dishes, perhaps you will receive more recipes. Don't know if this will qualify, but you're welcome to try it. As Ron had mentioned, you could make a raw cranberry sauce using apples. You can mix raw cranberries, with equal amounts of berries and apple (or more apple). You can use dates or raw agave nectar for additional sweetening. For 1/2 pint you might use two or more apples. Make it to taste. One option is some fresh ginger. Some lemon might be nice and may reduce the browning of the apples. Another option is to buy a container (usually 1/2 pint?) of cranberries (non-organic have more options) and a bag of fresh seedless grapes. Start with about equal amounts of both (such as a cup of each) and blend or process and add more grapes to taste. Simple! Victoria Boutenko has given classes on raw thanksgiving recipes. Victoria may or may not want the recipes posted to the list, but perhaps someone has an extra copy to give you. I'm sure Juliano has a nut-loaf recipe in his book (it may be complicated.) Other raw recipe books may have some recipes you'd like. I'm not finding my pumpkin soup or pudding recipes at the moment. Maybe someone on the list has a recipe for raw pumpkin pie that they'd like to share. One year (at my T-day potluck) Soccorro created an amazing salad, with spiral sliced rainbow (?) radishes and other colorful veggies around a platter of greens. I hope this helps!
