Guest guest
Nora, Where are you finding these little gems? I ate Chocolate Persimmons in CA a few years ago and haven't forgotten them. They are delicious! I haven't seen them in the Pac. NW! Thanks, Linda West Seattle --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
I've got chocolate persimmons in Central Market last year but haven't seen them yet this year. They do have a sort of chocolate flavor, amazing. Persimmons in PCC are very good. They have both Fuyu and Hachia. Prices are not bad either. I bought them a week ago now most of the hachias are already very ripe. These Fuyus brix 17, 18 and hachias brix reach up to 23. Hachias always brix higher than Fuyu. Guest guest
This morning Central had conventional fuyus for 50 cents each, and the chocolate ones (non-organic) were $1.98 ea. (ouch). A couple weeks ago they were .98 each, so maybe they'll come down again. Nora Helen wrote: > I've got chocolate persimmons in Central Market last year but haven't seen > them yet this year.
