RE: Attitude....'One hundred over 100'

There is a book 'One hundred over 100' you can get in library, this is 100

stories about people who reached the age 100. I have learned some American

history through those stories. There is no a single vegan though. They eat all

sorts of food. Some of them emigrants and eat type of food they used to eat in

their home country. For example on page 107, two Italian, she is 100 and he is

102. They eat spaghetti with meatballs every day. You would say that this is a

very bad combination, protein and starch in edition it's all cooked, yet it

doesn't harm them, they both are at home, not in a nursing home, and not in

wheelchairs. She is saying the real secret is garlic and slo-o-o-o-w cooking.

And she is saying old Italian never die, they just pasta away :-)

LOL, I like that one. I'm Italian and I can relate although most of my

older relatives had all kinds

of diseases and both my parents ended up with diabetes and heart problems.
