Guest guest
Jack LaLanne turned 90 on Sunday, September 26. I went to the Google News site and put his name in, and there are several articles about him. (Thanks Nick.) I was watching Dr. Phil last night. The topic was finding an alternative to drugging children for ADD (which the child and parent did not want, but the pressure was coming from the school teacher), and the authority on the show with Dr. Phil uses kinesiology to determine what the child should and should not eat. He mentioned that the rawer the food, the better it is metabolised by the brain. The person representing the teaches said they have so many children and needs to meet, they just want the disorder under control. I do hope that the alternatives are getting out there for those in this situation so parents don't feel obligated to drug their children because the school is pressuring them to. People have grown up with the mindset that to treat something, you eliminate the symptom by taking a drug or a pill. The proper question to ask yourself is, " What is causing the symptom and what can I do to remove the cause " instead of " What can I do to remove the symptom?
