Guest guest
Hi! I am slowly transitioning. I am wondering if there are any recommendatons for juicers. I have a LaLanne in my car trunk that I got for $99 because I could afford it, but after talking to friends, I am bringing it back before opening it. I lead a very busy life. My priorities are quiet (husband does not like alot of noise), ease of cleaning, not take too long to juice and capacity. Thanks very much for any help. The best I could find is the Omega 8003. It does take a bit longer to juice because the gear spins so slowly. I have yet to find a juicer that juices fast and is quiet. Other than that I think it's got everything you're looking for. I've been using one for a couple months and am very happy with it. Plus it has a 10 year warranty. Can't beat that. Guest guest
I finally got the Omega 8005 for wheatgrass. It does it all. Wheatgrass is " warm " however, but definately not 'hot' (also i think because I don't refridge the grass prior to juicing). It also makes pasta (which does not help us), but you can make fruit ice cream with it. My DF commented that the champion is superior in motor and chute size, AND if doing a lot of harder veggies like carrots, we still use the champion. Also if we are doing citrus, because the chute is larger, we use the champion. HOWEVER, the omega 8005 can easily do both, and solved our " we need an all around juicer " problem very nicely. Easy to clean and nice chrome too! We got it online for >$200. The all-new My – Get yours free!
