Guest guest
Re: Green Tea Tea, whether boiled or steeped in the sun, is cooked. Green tea is steamed and black tea & Kukicha (twig tea) is roasted. One raw foodist friend thought that raw green tea is available, but I know of no place in North America to obtain it raw. It's full of antioxidents. Even caffiene can be medicinal, but maybe not when one is dependent on it. It can be a good transition from coffee. It's shipped from Asia. Fuel is used for transport, so it's not the best for the environment. While it may be ideal to eat locally, I love to eat durians, mangos, coconuts, etc. There are probably lots of plants full of antioxidents in my bioregion that I'm not aware of. Black, green and kukicha are from the same plant. Red tea (rooibos) is a different plant. My question is...Is white tea the same plant? What is the process? What is the caffienne content? Guest guest
Yoga, I believe white tea is a different genesis than black/green, and as with red/roobios....contains no caffine.
