need more protein:(

Yes I know there is protein in everything and I know we don't need

much of it but I definitely have a problem if I eat a meal without any

solid source of protein like seeds/nuts/beans or else I end up

snacking on some organic cheese when my blood sugar drops ;) I am a

vegetarian and meat is of course not in my diet but I would like to do

more raw and lose a few lbs especially my tummy, I am in my 60's about

8lbs overweight, last time I went to Dr my blood prssure was high

which scared me terribly altho I do have a phobia about getting it

taken so that is probably why but now have to get up courage to take

it at home. I love walking and hiking and usually do a couple miles

daily but got lazy during the hot summer. I usually have a fresh fruit

bowl every morning and put a 1/4 cup almonds (crushed) over it, I know

its not supposed to be a good food combining combo but has never

bothered my digestion. I don't soak the almonds because I have to

crush them for my teeth, hope its ok as I read they must be soaked. I

guess I could crush and then soak? I juice everyday (GreenLife juicer)

and mostly greens altho always an apple in it for sweetness and maybe

a couple of carrots. Today I had kale/parsley/chard/broccoli/carrto/apple.

I only buy organic :)
