Guest guest
Thanks for that link. The section on seed/nut cheeses got me wondering. I've only been doing kefir since late September and I know that you can use the grains to ferment seed and nut milks...and also there is something called " water grains " that I have not obtained or used yet. Perhaps I should start using my kefir grains to kefir seed/nut milks more and then put them in milk to keep them alive (every few days). Interesting probiotic alternative. These kefir grains are so cool like rubbery cauliflower. Thinking aloud, Diana of Dewberry Hill Send a seasonal email greeting and help others. Do good. Guest guest
Hi Diana, Why does the kefir only live on milk? My vegan probiotic is grown on rice base. Just a thought.. Will it grow in rejuvelac?? ???? thanks, /michele < -----knows nothing about kefir!! Diana of Dewberry Hill <cozad76078 wrote: Thanks for that link. The section on seed/nut cheeses got me wondering.
