Thanks for that link. The section on seed/nut cheeses got me wondering. I've

only been doing kefir since late September and I know that you can use the

grains to ferment seed and nut milks...and also there is something called " water

grains " that I have not obtained or used yet. Perhaps I should start using my

kefir grains to kefir seed/nut milks more and then put them in milk to keep them

alive (every few days). Interesting probiotic alternative. These kefir grains

are so cool like rubbery cauliflower.

Hi Diana,

Why does the kefir only live on milk? My vegan probiotic is grown on rice base.

Just a thought.. Will it grow in rejuvelac??
