Guest guest
Thanks Val. I was miserable with this cold yesterday and last night - just went to sleep when Igot home from work, couldn't breathe, couldn't eat. But today I feel a lot better. Still have the cold, but am at work (and it is COLD outside today), and doing fine. Still have a runny nose, but I am amazed at how quickly I'm feeling better. I am sure that my diet is a big part of why I'm not down and out for several days with this. I plan on drinking lots of juice when I get home. cheers terry rawfood , Valerie Mills Daly <valdaly> wrote: > I think eventually our bodies build up enough immune strength that we won't see so much of the regular colds and things kicking in. I know this is my first year in many years of getting this far into the cold weather without getting a bronchial infection, and I'm glad. I've had a couple of sinus-type colds, but they only lasted a couple of days instead of a couple of weeks. I asked a couple of my healthy-eating friends about their experiences (they've been mostly raw for six years), and while they still get the odd cold now and then, it's rare, and when it does come, it's very mild and only lasts a couple of days. So hang in there; apparently it gets better! > > Peace, > Valerie > > terry <levamssg> wrote: > > > Valerie, > One thing I was hoping was, in eating a complete raw food diet, that > my immune system would defend against colds and such. > > But not the case.
