Guest guest
Y'all are gems to help me. I'm land locked here as an Okie Tex between them thar hills and The Big D... Raw? Why, when steers a are a plenty? And a steak house on every corner. Bout the same famine as finding a good church when there is one on every corner! LOL! I must make big raised bed gardens for summer produce on my mountain of pines and rocks. I miss my wild foraging on the Big Island of Hawaii and the big organics available in Southern Cal, but have a small mountain wilderness to myself. Whole Foods market here in the Big D is my oasis and I drag my organic produce lovingly (trying not to bruise it as it rides with my firewood) up the mountain in Oklahoma off grid where I spend most of my time and must get a bigger propane fridge there in off grid cabin...where I talk to you by generated power with a wireless dish. :=) Seems some folks have different attitudes about this raw deal we so lovingly embrace. Some say we are " holier than thou " in our attitudes. The longer I live the more I know I don't know. And I am thinking that they are using that excuse to cover for their inherent guilt...and that they really think we are doing the right thing and they wish they would but " just can't " . Who knows maybe since I'm a " totally raw " newbie I'll be one of the ones in some time saying that I was missing something...but sort of doubt it. Open to never saying never tho! I've been on both sides of the proverbial fence and even sitting on it for too long. So who's to say...there is only one Judge in this one universe and He will have the last word for sure. We can only ask and offer. Right? Typical Texas weather..was 70 degrees yesterday and today it's snowing. Diana who knows her Dewberry Hill is all white and hopes she can get up the mountain in two days.
