Guest guest
I find this to be one of my favorite salads. Not only delicious, but simple and easy and it keeps for days in the fridge. Ingredients: Kale lemon avocado salt Chop Kale very small. I roll the leaf from the tip to the end. This usually breaks the fat stem from the leaf. I discard the stems to my rabbit. Then I take my knife and cut as thinly as possible onto (crosswise. Like you just made a cucumber and cut how you'd cut a cucumber into rounds) that leaf 'tube' that I made. This will result in long thin strips of Kale. Food processor chop will be fine to do to. Then squeeze lemon juice and salt over all the Kale and toss. Then take an avocado or 2 and mash them as much as possible with a fork and add it to the Kale. Then with your hands, mash the avocado into the kale, rub it and squeeze the avocado into the kale until fully distributed throughout. Enjoy. sliced tomatoes make a nice accompaniment
Guest guest
That's my favorite, too! Though I add a little (probably unnecessary) olive oil, and cayenne (sometimes), and I use diced tomatoes Here's the recipe I follow http://www.fresh-network.com/recipes/salads/kale_avocado.htm I have that recipe linked in the Recipes section of my website: http://www.RawFoodWiki.org/ On Tue, 21 Dec 2004, seattleponyrides wrote: > > > > I find this to be one of my favorite salads. > Not only delicious, but simple and easy and it keeps for days in the fridge. > > Ingredients: > Kale > lemon > avocado > salt > > > Chop Kale very small. > I roll the leaf from the tip to the end. > This usually breaks the fat stem from the leaf.
