Guest guest
Ummm, all this talk of coconuts makes me want to move back to Hawaii (if I didn't already have a paid for mountain here with a grand view). I miss climbing a coconut tree and grabbing a just pink young coconut and cutting off the top with my jungle jack knife and poking out one of the three holes in the soft shell...drinking the heavenly coconut water. Smashing the coconut against a lava rock, cutting off a piece of the top with my knife for a scooper and scooping out the fresh soft spoon meat coconut pudding and letting it melt in my mouth! On to the next coconut. Could eat about eight of them for b-fast...they really get things moving ;-) But I'm afraid the days of that coconut grove are long gone for tourist safety reasons. That was back in the mid 70's in Kona. I would sure like to get some water kefir grains and try that with the coconut water. But then a person can't get young healthy coconuts on the mainland can they? Especially such a land locked place as Texas/ Oklahoma? Y'all? Not too many raw folks here either.
