If we where ment to eat grains we would have a gizzard like animals who do eat raw grains. Makes sense to me. I mean why should you *have* to cook food to eat it? From my expierience grains need to be cooked. Alought I'm curious about trying raw oatmeal.
Guest guest
I'm new here but am learing very fast. I do remember some things over the years about what I consider healthy ideas and one is that fruits go alone. Wouldn't dates stay with fruits like apples? Not be a good mix with grains esp? Am researching whether I want to use grains at all. Some say they are toxic...do some here use them sprouted? Also just learned of alissa cohens and her site looks good. Much to learn and share...will ask questions in other posts. Diana of Dewberry Hill soaked oat groats with berries & dates- throw in blender quite yummy and filling.. i just picked up alissa cohens recipe book & dvds -its quite amazing.. perr Take Mail with you!
