Hi Everyone

My name is Tracey and I am 36 years old and just starting my raw

journey although I have been researching about it for a few years. I

was 90% fruitarian for a few months about 2 years ago and that was

wonderful don't know why I didn't stick to it because I lost weight

and felt terrific.

I live in Australia and have been married to Carl for 8 years. We

have 5 boys Dylan Carl 7, Jesse James 6, Jon Mathew 3 (4 on 11th

Dec), Liam Arthur 2 and Brady Angus 10 months. My last 4 births have

been homebirths and we educate our boys at home in their traditional

culture. My husband is an Aborigine and our boys will learn their

traditional ways.

I am struggling going 100% raw. I don't eat meat of any kind, cheese

or eggs, I don't drink milk the only dairy I have is in my

addiction - chocolate which I am trying very hard to stop. I was a

strict vegan years ago.

I start my day with a melon smoothie (rockmelon and honeydew,

sometimes we add watermelon too) or fresh fruit juice (usually

apple, carrot, beetroot and ginger, sometimes just apple, carrot and

celery). I try to eat lots of salads amd fruit but usually by lunch

time I fail and end up having bread. I find things like pasta and

rice don't go down at all well anymore. I don't drink coffee or tea

so I don't have that to worry about and we don't drink alcohol or

smoke cigarettes either.

Generally I suppose I am on the right track but with my husband and

kids wanting cooked things it creates a big challenge for me. Except

for Jesse all my boys and husband are meat eaters. Jesse was

recently very sick from a concussion and since then he has started

to eat a lot healthier and doesn't want meat anymore. The Meatrix

made him understand how animals are treated. Go to

Anyway I look forward to reading your past and present posts. From

what I have read to date there is some great information in their.

In health

Tracey
