Guest guest
Hi, Sorry I have not been around much but my back finally got too bad to sit at the computer at all. I am going in for surgery at noon today. They are taking my lumbar spine apart and putting it back together with a rod and pins. There was really no choice if I want to continue to walk. The spinal canal is so small that the nerves are getting compressed. They know I am vegan but a regular vegie diet is the best they can do. I plan to sort of feed that to Jim and he is is going to smuggle wheat grass juice, fruit and vegies in to me. I only have to be in for 2 or 3 days so we should be able to do that. I have to wear a brace for 3 months at least. I would appreciate any ideas on foods that will help the healing go faster. I have been mostly raw for over 6 months now. My major sin is dehydrated wheat sprout bread. I am not sure that counts as raw. I have been spending a lot of time meditating and feel pretty calm about the whole thing. My goal is to be fit enough to start a good garden this spring. Namaste, CaraLea
