I've been trying to via ... and they do send me a note

asking if I really wish to ... I've sent the Email back .. and they

have confirmed that I am d ... please note .. I've done this twice

now...

 

 

yet I still am getting Email ....

 

 

would you please be willing to help me by kicking me out the group. As a

Moderator I know its in your power to do so... and I really would hate to make

my first hand full of posts to the groop of the " flaming sort " ... lol... just

to get myself kicked out.

This has happened to me in the past and until it was resolved, I

simply " tagged " the mail from the particular user group as SPAM

and it was snagged prior to hitting my inbox.

 

Does AOL have that option? I know does.

I'm not a moderator of this group but I experienced the same problem with anothe

group. I too, requested twice and was confirmed but the way it happened for me

was to go to the home page of the group that I was attempting to leave and just

clicked on " Leave This Group " . Since then, the mail has ceased coming to me.

This is so funny, I am LMAO.

 

Here is a Three Step Process to get yourself out of the group:

 

1. Subscribe again, and if you have to explain to the moderators why you

are subscribing, just tell them you have had trouble leaving the standard

way;

2. When you get back in, set your preference to No E-Mail;

3. When the e-mail stops coming, leave the group again. If the e-mail

doesn't stop coming, then just switch it from e-mail to no e-mail again,

until it stops coming.

 

Did you to the group twice? Under a different name? Did you

go directly to the group site, and on the home-page check " leave the group " ?

 

Just trying to help.
