Guest guest
Hello group, I'm new here but I hope to become an active participant. My husband was recently diagnosed with a cancer in his kidney. He has to have the kidney removed. He is sincere about healing himself and determined to stave off the spread of this disease by changing his diet. Well, I'm free of cancer as far as I know but could stand to lose a few pounds... so we are both going to a raw food diet. It would never work if we didn't to this together. I'm determined but clueless as to how to start. What do you recommend? I suppose I could just go to the store and buy lots of carrots and cabbage -- clean out my fridge... all jams, jellies pizza etc. would go. How do you feel about seeds and nuts? Breads? (no I suppose they aren't considered " raw " ?) I'll be reading your archives - I have much to learn. Linda
