Guest guest Posted November 10, 2004 Report Share Posted November 10, 2004 I'm new to the Raw Food diet and am still transitioning from a 100% Vegan Dieg. My question is this, are there any sample meal plans out there for a newbie Raw Foodist like myself. I understand food combining but on Raw Foods individuals seem to eat alot less. I'm currenty about 75% raw food and I've had some major cleansing going on already. I'm 32 years old, 5'4, 130lbs right now. I used to be 160lbs which was my highest and I want to lose weight although losing weight isn't the only reason I started a Raw Food diet. Here is a typical daily menu for me. I need opinions critiques etc. I also still have one cooked meal a day right now but next week will move to one cooked meal a week only: Breakfast Orange Juice/Bliss Balls made with Almond and honey and rolled in coconut shavings Snack Banana or Apple Lunch Tossed green salad 2 cups Snack Avocado (guacemole) with a bunch of carrots for dipping about 1/2 cup Dinner Grape nuts cereal and soymilk with raisins I've just started sprouting some wild rice, wheatberries and lentils. They should be ready on Friday I can't wait! I need more protein in my diet but I want to stay away from most cooked stuff, so I have to hold out till friday Thanks for any comments and/or suggestions.
