Guest guest
SFgate.com has posted the following in regards to the close. The other shoe has dropped in Marin, and Roxanne's To Go has closed. Its last day was Friday, Sept. 10. We wrote a few weeks ago about the closing of Roxanne's, the pioneering raw restaurant in Larkspur. The reason given at the time was that the takeout outlet next door had cannibalized the restaurant's business. But several days ago chef-owner Roxanne Klein called to say that " everything was being taken away from me " in a divorce battle with her husband, Michael Klein. " I'm not able to do anything ... can't bring in investors, " she says. She also says the business was in both their names, which Michael Klein confirms. He was reluctant to be interviewed but said that it is " not the case " that he is taking everything away. -------END ARTICLE----- Regards, Burke Bryant LifeForce Foods www.livingntheraw.com --- Rufus Shaw <rufus10_99 wrote: > I had heard that Roxanne's was out of business.
