Another key thing about Bonobo's is that they encourage customers to sample

anything they want before ordering. I loved their signature red pepper-coconut

soup, their hummus " nutmeat " and their house dressing.

The entrees and salads are made fresh to your

specifications, right in front of you. They have

plenty for the those of us raw foodist who don't eat

garlic or onions. Coconuts are always avail. The

hours change seasonally so call ahead of time. You

order at the counter, PICK your ingrediants and watch

your food being prepared, then pay and take it all to

your table. It is cafeteria style seating, but has a

very friendly feel. When we lived in CT we would

travel into NYC a few times a week to enjoy this

restaurant. I recommend the sushi roll and coconut

thai soup. Local raw food and eco communities often

meet here.

Judy,

Sounds like an awesome opportunity for you ! You

could start the first raw restaurant in Sarasota, and

publicize it by writing articles for the local papers.

I'd give you all my business every time I get to

Sarasota.

Bonobo's is EXCELLENT. I had the nut patty platter and it was fantastic. The

prices are great too.
