There are lots of gurus of the raw food movement, some with " impressive " credentials, some with none at all. Credentials are not demanded of anyone by anyone, except if someone is teaching something that disagrees with the mainline propaganda, the medical paradigm, the practice of palliation. You can be as impressed as you wish, with credentials, but they will not lead to health. The truth about health has been suppressed and vilified for so long, that the message is rarely heard. One needs to be able to recognize truth wherever one finds it, and to actively seek it, if one expects to achieve health, instead of blindly following leaders who preach the message one wishes to hear. The body is the only one we should follow, Nature and her principles are the ones we should obey. What kinds of credentials does the body have? What credentials are found in Nature? It is truly pathetic that people will go against that which is healthy, which is rational, which is being demanded by our bodies, in order to obey those with credentials instead. But that's what we've all been thoroughly taught, and no one has even suggested otherwise, so that Nature's voice has been thoroughly drowned out. And it's difficult to let go of, for so many people, it's their security blanket, so they hang tight to the indoctrination. The more credentials one has, the more they are going to stick rigidly to the methods of those from whom they derived their credentials. Insanity is described as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Look around you, the world is full of people who obediently follow those with the most impressive credentials. People are mostly obese, sick, dying, from giving over the responsibility for their health to those with credentials. Most of the raw vegan gurus are saying to take B12 pills, and that to not take pills is " dangerous " , and " irresponsible " . That message is tantamount to saying that raw veganism is dangerous and irresponsible, and that health comes from taking toxic pills. Meanwhile, other raw gurus are pushing the consumption of animal products and claiming that to not murder animals and eat their rotting corpses is " dangerous " and " irresponsible " , and health comes from consuming toxic animal products. It is all nothing but hysteria. The gurus, whether credentialed or not, are simply scaring people into ingesting toxins in the form of pills, potions, powders, disgusting products made from the abuse and killing of animals. They are doing it by means of fake stories about myriad deaths and ill health of raw vegans. Yet they can't come up with even ONE real example of any of their claims. But the gurus are very busy scaring the poor impressionable raw vegans. It's not difficult to scare raw vegans out of raw veganism, as thoroughly indoctrinated as we have been all our lives to eat carcasses, guzzle pills, obey the " authorities " , etc. And these people HAVE to find ways to scare raw vegans. I mean, who is going to consume rotting corpses, embryos, mucus, that is animal products, especially raw??? That is why cooking was invented, for heaven's sakes, to make those abominations palatable, and the only reason any humans ate any animal products in the first place was because our natural dietary was unavailable amid the snows of the ice age. Now that our beautiful, luscious natural foods of scrumptious fruits, greens, nuts/seeds are abundant for us, we have a chance to revive our health and the Earth. But unfortunately, a parasitic subculture has developed among raw fooders, of pushing animal products onto raw vegans, by means of scaring them with claims of " deficiencies " , and with trying to convince them that eating those substances is " natural " , and of course giving " lessons " on how to get used to eating them and overcome the body's natural revulsion toward them. It's an artful sales job, I mean, how else is anyone going to get people to eat that crap? Especially when our real food, that which is compatible with our human bodies, and which beckons to us, is now available. What idiocy and insanity to impose animal products on people's bodies! And of course the pills, potions, powders, and all manner of other nonsense—how else is anyone going to convince people to consume that junk, except by scaring them of what will happen to them if they don't take it all? And by convincing them that they " need " these things, that these substances have magical properties and intelligence, that these substances are capable of cleansing, of " balancing " , of " healing " , etc. And that they satisfy a " deficiency " . That we supposedly have a deficiency of pills! That pills are a substitute for food. And of course these people love to bash fruit. Some of these very credentialed people have convinced the raw populace that fruit is unhealthy, and even that fruit causes cancer! And of course now they are saying that not taking pills will result in death! Despite all the toxic junk that is peddled to raw vegans, some of us have managed to navigate those treacherous waters, and to thrive. We had been just as indoctrinated with the nonsense as anyone else. But fortunately, some of us have had access to the teachings of the truth about health, from those who have sought the real facts about health, which led them back to Nature, to discovering our true dietary and conditions of life, which is the only place that health has ever been found. > I'm curious, what " qualifications " do > you have that would make us put our health in your > hands. Heavens, I don't want people to put their health into my hands! And I certainly have never asked for anyone to do so. On the contrary, I seek to impart to people the information that I have been fortunate enough to find--I am very grateful for it, and it is so valuable and rare. That information is EMPOWERING! It is empowering in every possible way, and encourages people to take responsibility for their own health as well. If they do not wish to, or cannot, then there are raw food professionals to whom they can turn, professionals who understand the principles. I feel that Dr. Bernarr Zovluck is far and away the most knowledgeable and capable, but there are several others who can be of help as well. But I ALWAYS encourage people to research, and I give references to guide them to truths which they may not otherwise find. In my original post about B12, I referred the reader to an excellent article by Dr. Gina Shaw, which really summarizes the whole B12 story so well. There are so many books by notable Natural Hygienists, such as Dr. Herbert Shelton, and Art Baker, and Hereward Carrington, to name a few; some of these books are available to read free on line, and they outline the basics of health. And of course the enlightening articles by Dr. Bernarr at his www.healself.org. If someone understands the basics of health, they will not look for health in pills, potions, powders, shots, inimical substances of any sort--they will understand that health is not to be found there. > For some reason I do not think you will give > us a streight answer to that one. You have not done > so in the past. I have always been completely honest and straightforward, and your accusations are certainly puzzling. I don't have any credentials to impress anyone with. I have only the message of the truth about health, which I have learned and lived and continue to learn and live, and which anyone can read about in the works of Dr. Herbert Shelton, Dr. Bernarr Zovluck, as well as other great Hygienic writers both past and present. And their knowledge rests upon the stable truths uncovered by nothing but MD's beginning in 1822 (these were MD's who were able to divest themselves of the false medical paradigm and found truth, which led to such spectacular results in helping their patients to heal, and which subjected these doctors to tremendous scorn among their colleagues), which itself rests upon the solid bedrock of the timeless, immutable principles of life, of Nature. Those who are not so rigid in their beliefs in the medical paradigm, can comprehend the immortal truths when they hear or read about them, for most learning is actually un-learning, and we recognize truth, since it resonates in each of us--the truth is there in our bodies, in our consciousness, in every one of our cells, underneath the untruths we operate on: We have all been steered completely in the direction away from health, being told the untruths that pills, potions, powders, drugs of all kinds, cutting and sewing body parts, animal products, cooked foods, etc., these are what constitute health. Those who can open their eyes, can see the absurdity of this paradigm, when faced with truth. Those who are rigidly attached to their belief in the voodoo of medicine, will always be extremely uncomfortable when faced with the truth, which they can't argue with. They don't like the message, so they kill the messenger, lol. I'm simply pointing the way, though I have been vegetarian and " into " health for nearly 36 years, and have been raw vegan for nearly 14 years. I've learned a bit about health, by constant research into the works of those who have uncovered the timeless truths, as well as empirically. My experience, and that of others who seek truth instead of a comfortable belief system, confirms that listening to Mother Nature and those who understand and live according to her principles, is the way to health; and following those who lead us away from living according to the natural principles simply leads us astray from health.
