Guest guest
Also changed to Raw path about a week ago, and curious how others who have been doing this a while, are actually eating ... do you follow the mono meal concept most of the time, or do you actually fix the 'fancy' recipes that I've seen in some of the " raw cookbooks " ? The mono meals, or semi-mono are certainly easier, though somewhat boring. And, the food combining? Anyone have good suggestions on remembering, other than melons totally alone, on how to mix/match well?
Guest guest
I hardly make recipes. I keep it as simple as possible. If its not simple I just dont do it. I might make a pie or rawviolis sometimes, other than that Im basically salad and fruits. Guest guest
Yes, definitely. Keep it simple - fruit in the morning, all day if possible; try to eat meals mono (meaning one item at a time, for instance - all papaya in the morning, great digestive fruit); wild/organic greens in the evening. Please refer to attached food combining chart which was created by Paul Nison. I have been total raw for 6 months - lost 20 pounds and went down two (2) sizes in clothes; my husband has lost 27 pounds. It couldn't be easier, but keep it simple as in the natural way of eating. I would recommend books by Paul Nison (as a beginner) and some other very critical ones by David Wolfe. Hope that helps! Take care and good luck!
