Guest guest Posted August 21, 2004 Report Share Posted August 21, 2004 hi dubadee, nice to meet you too! i haven't been here long either, am about to turn 50, and have 1 18yr old daugher at home. i first went vegetarian in '94 -gave up eggs & cheese too, and made uncheeze (from the cookbook), and a variety of tofu dishes... i started dabbling with raw veganism a few months ago. you've been at this a long time! it is confusing - using any bottled, or anything prepared on a raw diet... as long as you're eating plenty of raw - doesn't matter.... i have a question about the nutritional yeast, too - it comes from a plant - anyone know how it's processed - is it cooked? why is it called yeast - is it fermented?
