Guest guest
Hi Just wanted to let you know about another option that is maybe a little more varied. I tried what you are planning on doing for a period of 2 months and I just felt really bad all of the time and for myself I didn't personally see any improvements. Although that is the diet I have also seen mentioned in several places. The one that was mentioned to me that I have found that I really like and have seen physical improvements in my candida since adapting about 8 weeks ago is Dr. Doug Grahams (you can do a word search on him and find him online - no need to buy any books) he recommends 80% carbs, 10% protein, 10% fat (all raw of course) you figure this out by entering your food intake into www.fitday.com (which is free) The 10% raw can be really challenging, I dont think many raw foodists realize how much fat they are actually eating. Anyway, I am not totally healed yet but I am so much further along than I thought I was ever going to get. I have been raw for 11 months beginning of august. An example of someone who eats this way and has for quite some time is Janie at www.ringlet.org , I journal personally on www.eco-centric.it another person who does minimal fats is at www.rawschool.com I hope that helps. I know how discouraging it can be to have candida. You might also try joining the healing oasis - it is a group for people with candida that want to heal from natural methods. The list owner is also raw. She has helped me out quite a bit and has become a friend.
