Guest guest
I have a GreenPower. I really like it. Sometimes it's a bit of a shove, and takes a long time, but I can compare it against others I have had. (To make the shove easier, get on a stool for leverage.) I had a Norwalk (used, still expensive), and it got very hot, kept clogging, was a two-step process, and even worse to clean up. A Champion seems to go faster, but you can't really do wheatgrass alone (GreenPower does fine for my purposes), but pineapple goes very well. I believe it's more centrifugal and slicing than grinding/masticating than the GP. Might be faster (more heat), too. I just played with a Juice Fountain. Yes, you can do whole apples, and it's very fast, but you only get about 2/3 of the juice out. When I run the wet pulp through the GP, I get 50% more juice. I can't afford this. It's also a pain to clean, and put back together. So unless I spend thousands, I think the GreenPower is one of the best. -K
Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I have a GreenPower juicer also, I like it very much. I still have my old Champion on the counter next to it for certain items. All in all the GreenPower Juice actually does taste better. The Champion seems to warm things up. I agree with you also about the need to really " shove " on the GreenPower, but I guess thats just a trade off. -karl " When I gave food to the poor, they called me a saint; but when I asked why people are poor, they called me a communist.
