Guest guest
Hello, I have been lovin' 100% raw (2nd time around) for about 3 months now. I have some questions I am hoping some people in the group might help me answer. Firstly, I am looking for a great air purifier that is also a humidifier. I live on the west coast and it seems that having a humidifier helps with the dust. The humidifier is not a must but seems like a nice a bonus. I was hoping some of you had some experience with air purifiers and can point me in the right direction. I was aiming for a model that had an ionizer, and killed bacteria, mold etc... I have a large one bedroom apartment, facing an active street, I have two dogs and we get many doggy visitors. So far the brands that seem to stand out to me are: Air-O-Swiss 2055 http://best-vacuum.com/aoswiss-2055.html Sun-Pure UV Air Purifier http://www.baar.com/sunpure.htm Living Air Classic www.livingairclassic.com Spring Air http://www.cetsolar.com/springair.htm Any thoughts??? My second question is for the raw joggers/runners out there. What is your diet like in preparation for your runs? I have a pretty sensitive digestive system so nuts are difficult for me. I enjoy them but when I eat too many it totally slows me down. What do you do when your feeling tired or fatigued? My third question is regarding snacks... I live in Los Angeles and am blessed to have a market loaded with yummy dehydrated treats (junk food). The problem is that the nuts and dehydration tend to slow my digestion down considerably and the snacks are both expensive and often way too sweet. I am looking for some pudding like recipes to satisfy my sweet cravings that contain little to no nuts and aren't overly sweet. And I would like to make my own very thin crackers that aren't all flax or at least overly flax. Maybe a ground flax plus ???? Any suggestions? And finally, my last question is for the ladies... My last few moons have brought out the wolf in me. I become extremely irritable (EXTREMELY) and quite fatigued. I also start craving sweets. (I can easily fly through a bag of dates, no problem.) It starts about two weeks before menstruation. The problem with the sweet craving is that now I seem to want sweet things A LOT. Since my last episode, I have started taking evening primrose oil & hemp seed oil to up my EFA's and GLA. And I started taking Jarrow's sublingual B-12. Does anyone have any other recommendations? PLEASE!! Thank you. Brigitte
