I have read Shelton and I find many of his ideas interesting. Five of his books are available online in full text: - The Hygienic Care of Children - The Hygienic System, Vol. II, Orthotrophy - The Hygienic System, Vol. III, Fasting and Sun Bathing - Man's Pristine Way Of Life - Syphilis: Is it a Mischievous Myth or a Malignant Monster They can be reached through the following web-page: Catalog of The Alternative Medical Therapies Library http://www.soilandhealth.org/02/0201hyglibcat/0201hyglibcat.html (The page contains other interesting books as well.) In Orthotrophy Chapter XIII - Animal foods, Herbert argues against animal foods. What do you think about the different thoughts and claims he presents here? Guest guest
Thank you, Fredrik, for posting the link and the list of Shelton books available to read on-line. This would have been the subject of my next post, you've saved me the effort . I of course heartily concur with Shelton. Hereward Carrington's book, " The Natural Food of Man " , also covers this topic in depth, though it's not available to read on-line: http://adidam.com/emporium/books/dhome.htm? go=../gt/6692_26679_26699.htm There are additionally many more reasons to eschew flesh and animal products of any kind.
