Guest guest
Hi Angela, You wrote: <I really like to hear what other people are eating in a day, or what other people want to eat in a day! I notice that you never say tomatos. Do you not like tomatos? I notice that quit a few people never say tomatos.I know that in raising young kids people on a SAD diet say that they are big time allergens. I love them though and eat as many as I can. I cant see myself just wanting fruit. I like greens too much. Anyway, as always, so glad to hear other peoples perspectives. Angela> This is what I eat: In the morning I always start with an orange and cup of herbal tea (ginger). My next meal is usually a banana or some other fruit. At noon, I switch to green stuff. I usually make either Alfredo or Chow Mein, a big bowl of it, all for me. I mean like four cups. Alfredo is chopped broccoli and mushrooms, tossed with a dressing of tahini, tamari, and water to thin, and then sprinkle raw sunflower seeds. Chow Mein is shredded green and red cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, mixed with sliced almonds, then tossed with tamari, olive oil, pressed ginger root (I use my garlic press), and then sprinkled with sesame seeds. I find that I am still craving sweets, so at some point in the afternoon I usually indulge in a couple of big dates with peanut butter and sunflower seeds. After that I eat either an orange, grapes or a tomato with raw pesto on it. Other recipes I eat: 1)peeled, cubed apple tossed with cardomom or cinnamon and honey, mix in raw cashews, a chopped date, and sprinkle with sunflower seeds. 2) half an avacado cubed, a tomato cubed, small cubes of jicama, tossed with lime juice, salt, pepper and cilantro. 3) a tomato cubes, a celery stalk chopped, red and green peppers chopped, cucumbers seeded and chopped, toss with lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper. Very refreshing. I don't know if I am doing this right at all, though. I haven't read any books on the subject of natural hygeine or on raw cooking. Also I haven't juiced or dehydrated yet. I haven't fasted yet either. I really am trying to avoid becoming indoctrinated in someone else's thinking prior to discovering my own. I am going by trial and error, and with the help of mentors and the information I find on this list. I hope this helps you...let us know how you are doing and shoot me an email offlist any time! =0) -Barbara
