Guest guest
The raw-er I get, the sicker " raw " cashews make me on the infrequent times I eat them. Even the " truly raw cashews " (Wolfe, Nison) should pass the sprouting test if they're truly raw. (I'm going to try it soon, I love cashews.) As for nut butters, you have to call the company. A while ago I called on black tahini butter, and was given a " good report " from http://www.premierorganics.org/catalog.cfm/cat=nutbutter if anyone's interested. You may want to call yourself, though, to be sure. -Kathy

I would doubt that they care about nut butters being raw, given the above. Judy
Guest guest
Yeah I know what you mean... the rawer I get, the more nauseous I get from eating raw almonds. Guest guest
One thing I notice about raw nuts is they seem to just run right through me. I don't know if there's much nutritional value staying behind. There's something to that need for crunchy foods for emotional relief for me.
