Guest guest
Hi Genie, I have used Bob's flax seed meal in oatmeal and in waffles to substitute the oil. It is really good, nice nutty taste. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Peel two cups of garlic cloves, place in a small baking dish, and cover with extra virgin olive oil, about 1 cup.2. Bake 30-40 minutes until golden.3. Let cool, refrigerate, and then blend in a food processor until emulsified.4. Refrigerate and it can last several weeks. The garlic butter can be used to replace regular butter at the table, as a spread on toasted bread sprinkled with fresh parsley & (soy) parmesan cheese for garlic bread, or even toss with pasta, fresh black pepper, fresh parsley & (soy) parmesan cheese.[This message contained attachments]__________Message: 2Sun, 27 Jan 2002 12:34:38 -0800 (PST)genie flaxseed mealI was at my local health food store the other day and found bob's redmill whole ground flaxseed meal. There is a recipe on the back forbran flax muffins. There is a mistake! The directions call for oil,but in the ingredient list it doesn't list it and so you have to guesson how much to put in. I'm calling tomorrow to find out/complain, butthought that you should be ware. By the way, I put in about 1/3 cupoil and they turned out really yummy for a bran muffin. The other neatthing about it is that the bag says that it can be substituted forshortening or cooking oil in baked goods. So, I'm going to make abannana bread today and try it out. Has anyone else used this yet? This seems to be great to get good oils and fiber all in one.GenieGreat stuff seeking new owners in Auctions! http://auctions.__________Message: 3Sun, 27 Jan 2002 17:10:45 -0600"june deffinbaugh martin" Re: flaxseed meal[This message is not in displayable format]__________
Guest guest
Sun, 09 May 2004 13:07:40 -0000 " jetpostman " <jetpostman mercury in fillings I found this web site that is very interesting. The site claims that clay can help with mercury poisoning amongst other things. http://www.eytonsearth.org/uses.html Guess we all better eat more dirt.LOL. Will have to give this a try. I have callauses on the bottom of my feet. Maybe the clay can get rid of them. I am on my feet all day at work and my feet hurt real bad at the end of the day. Nicholas Costanza This is another EXCELLENT source for clay baths. www.magneticclay.com I even hold a paste of the environmental clay in my mouth for 15-20 minutes (under my tongue) to help pull out the effects of 17 amalgams and 2 nickel crowns having been removed in the past 2 years! I was also a welder for over 22 years... so I had a HUGE load of toxins in my body. I no longer have fibromyalgia..! And my diet is about 80 percent RAW!
