Guest guest
Anne, I did evening rather than morning enemas for two reasons. 1. The peristaltic action triggered by an enema triggers the small intestines to empty into the colon as well as triggers the lymphatic system to dump its cellular waste into the small intestine. Therefore, if the intestinal tract is healthy, emptying the colon at night will allow the lymphatic system to empty itself as soon as you become active the next morning. 2. Few people can do a complete enema in the evening and have a normal stool in the morning. However, when you are repeatedly able to do so, you know that your intestinal system is fully functioning. When you do a morning enema, you can still get some of the results mentioned in #1 but not all the benefits. You have not way of gauging the degree of intestinal functioning. mary --- ms4runr2 <ms4runr2 wrote: > WHy did you do evening instead of morning enema's? > I've just started > morning enema's to help with detoxing. -- anne > > ===== Mary, Luvie, Ranger, & the flying brigade A smile is a silent 'hello'. owner of 'The Fully Trained Working Dog' 'Avian Health: Holistic Approach' 'Yoga for Therapy'. Guest guest
Excellent. Thank you. This makes complete sense to me. And I will give it a try. I've been doing coffee enema's in the AM to force the release of toxins by the liver. I will try plain enema's at night, also. -a
