Guest guest
EXERCISE, Jenny's 20 Reasons to GET UP AND GO! " When I feel lazy, and I'm trying to decide whether or not I'm going to exercise, I reread this list and it helps me GET UP AND GO. I try to at least get in a brisk 15 minute walk each day and get my heart rate up and work up a sweat. Regular exercise does so much! Don't forget to EXERCISE as an essential part of the " Raw Food Lifestyle. " (RFL) 1.) Exercise increases my energy and endurance; I can work longer and harder when I am fit. I can keep up with all my children a little better! Exercise helps eliminate chronic fatigue. 2.) Exercise builds a stronger immune system and resistance to illness and disease. Exercise causes the bone marrow to increase its production of red blood cells. 3.) Exercise improves circulation and gives my skin that radiant healthy glow. It helps prevent or reduce varicose veins. 4.) Exercise helps me go to sleep, sleep better and awake refreshed. 5.) Exercise boosts my metabolism and burns fat and is an essential key to losing excess weight. 6.) Exercise is an essential key to help me not gain weight back. 7.) Exercise makes me more limber or flexible and less stiff; it helps prevent arthritis. 8.) Exercise helps prevent (and heal) back, neck, shoulder and head aches as well as relieve tension. 9.) Exercise elevates endorphin levels in the blood for a sense of well being and calmness. Depressions lifts and I become a more cheerful person. 10.) Exercise jiggles the lymph system and causes toxins to be eliminated, like a clothespin letting go of a sock. Exercise causes the skin to perspire and excrete toxins, which purifies the blood. 11.) Exercise helps my heart, and eases the workload on the heart, because exercise helps to circulate the blood to distribute oxygen and nutrients from head to toe. 12.) Exercise stimulates the processes of absorption and utilization of oxygen and nutrients; therefore it nourishes me. 13.) Exercise helps my mental health and gives me clearer, quicker and more creative thinking. Exercise improves my memory and helps prevent senility. 14.) Exercise balances my hormones and helps with female problems such as preventing or relieving premenstrual and menopausal symptoms. 15.) Exercise strengthens my muscles. Stronger stomach muscles help prevent back problems. A stronger back gives me better posture. Stronger muscles make childbirth easier. I am more like the Proverbs 31 woman who " girds her arms with strength. " Fit muscles help me fit into my clothes better and improve my appearance as well. 16.) Exercise increases my confidence and I feel better about myself and my future. I also feel better about giving a good example, of how important it is to exercise, to my children and loved ones. 17.) Exercise helps regulate my appetite and cuts addictive cravings. 18.) Exercise helps my central nervous system; and relieves stress, tension, and anxiety and enables me to respond to stressful situations with more poise and self-control. 19.) Exercise helps my digestion, prevents constipation, and aids in elimination; therefore it helps my body detoxify and keep the colon clean and able to absorb nutrients better. 20.) Exercise makes me more thankful to God for the wondrous and miraculous body He made for me! I say, as King David did, " I praise You, oh Lord my God, because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
