Hi ,

I TRIED RAW FOR SIX WEEKS AND BECAME SO ILL I ened up in the emegency ward

with a blood presuer of 23.50.It took me almost six months to get back to

where I felt normal.

I had dizzy spells and thought I was going to pass out, could not think

straight, no concentration and could not work very well.Legs were weak and

could not take much walking...spend time in bed because of being weak .

However,I am now about 50 % raw O.K. I will keep it up , little by little.

However, a very bad experience.Has not put me off 100 % but .....

a bit not sure if this way of eating. Will wait and feels how it goes.

I'm into gym, stretching and areobics ( for years...this not new) ......3

times week So look after the muscle side as well. But , had to cut down for a

while.Just could not do it .

I may not get to 100% like Peter and others ,but I guess every little bit

helps.

Good luck ......and heres to your health !!!!

" " RUSTI " .

[Raw Food] Being sick

> Hi, this is Mary Ellen. I have the head cold from hell, I think this is

day number 3 of sniffles, sneezing, coughing, etc... I have been 100% raw

for 32 days in a row and I just cannot understand how I can be this sick. I

mean, I eat so good! Can this be detox? Aren't we supposed to eliminate

sickness when we go raw? I really feel like " death warmed over " . Should I

fast? Should I just drink water? Does anybody else here get sick? Or is it

just me? And if you do in fact get sick, what do you do to get over it?
