Guest guest
Feather If you want cheap, then free could be a solution. In sprouting some soaking or emersion for about 12 hours usually works. Thereafter a dowsing three times a day does the trick. However I find that a lid over the top of the bowl that carries the moistened seeds helps a lot. Soak overnight and drain, rinse once a day for a few days until the tail is as long as the bean. Eat by themselves or as a salad ingredient. > Can anyone recommend a cheap ($25 or under) sprouter? For the garbanzos, a shallow soup bowl and a cheezecloth or coffe filter to cover it and keep the flies out is all you need. The same works for lentils or black eyed peas. rusty - " Heather " <featherheatherlee " rawfood " <rawfood > Sunday, April 04, 2004 1:51 PM [Raw Food] sprouting garbanzo beans and sprouters > Hi! > Thanks, Feather
