I just made some of my tropical applesauce for the kids, and thought

I'd share the recipe.

I start by squeezing fresh orange juice

Then I chop enough apples to almost fill my Vitamix.

I put half the apples in, then 1-2 bananas, then fill with apples.

I add a small amount of orange juice, and process on " 5 " . I add

more juice as needed, and sometimes move the speed to 6, depending

on consistency wanted.

My kids absolutely LOVE this applesauce. Sometimes they want a

pinch of cinnamon; sometimes I use pineapple juice. There are an

infinite number of changes you can make with this, but if your kids

are resisting eating more raw food, this is one they'll ask for!

Hi Everyone,

I'm still trying to grasp what to eat, and I was hope some of you might be able

to help. Are vegetables that are not organic but are not cooked, still

considered raw?

Nuts - you soak them (for how long?), then dehydrate them (for how long?)

I went on a " blind " raw shopping trip to the store and bought some things that I

have no idea how to eat or what to do with them:

Pearled Barley

12 Grain Organic Cereal

Oats - Hulless Sprouting

Whole Kernel Buckwheat - sprouting

Hulled Pumpkin Seeds

A variety of bean seeds

A range of bean sprouts

One more question...how do I sprout seeds?

Thank you for your help!

I've learned so much through this group
