I am Mary Ellen, 43 from Ohio and I have been a vegetarian for a year after a lifetime of eating garbage and crap, mainly cooked, dead animals. I seriously think it's a miracle that I'm still alive. My dad was a meat cutter (butcher) by trade and my mother raised me on " canned milk with Karo syrup " as a baby, so as you can see, I never really had a chance. It took me 42 years to learn what a " live " food was. Better late than never.> Hi Mary Ellen, Nice to meet you. Your post made me laugh. That's an extreme case! But no matter...the body heals itself. I smoked, I drank, I did drugs, I probably didn't eat raw food for years and years. But I'm here to tell the tale!
