Guest guest
To sprout soak for not more than 12 hours. Then splash three times a day and no harm putting a cover to keep humidity in and light out. Never " blanch " vegetables at all if you want to eat raw. I find beetroots indigestible Peter Would also like some tips on sprouting as my first batch all molded and I have not done any since. I do thank those that did tell me what else to do and not to do. On a raw food diet, do any of you just blanch your veggies 'a bit'. there are some veggies that I like but cannot see me ever eating them raw? I have been to our local library and they do not have much in the way of books and I have done some searches but have not come up with a list of veggies that just cannot be eaten raw. Does anyone have a list of these veggies? I know some leaves (ruhbard) are poisonious--but what else is? Thanks Anita
