Guest guest
First, I want to again thank everyone for their GREAT responses! You have NO idea how great it is to have a place for support when facing a challange like this. Next, I have a request for advice. My sister, who is only 30 years old, was diagnosed with Rhematiod Arthritis a few years ago and put on all sorts of meds. The problem is - every med she takes creates a new problem. She was diagnosed three months ago with Osteoporsis and last month she was diagnosed with Iritable Bowel Syndrome after an experience that literally landed her in the emergency room. I know it is not my business to " MAKE " someone go raw - but I would REALLY like to inform her of the benefits she could see. It is hard to tell her of only my experience - as I do not battle the same problems she does. Does anyone here have success stories of battling any of these diseases? Thanks for your time and ALL feedback will be GREATLY appreciated!!! Hugs, KC
Guest guest
Rhematiod Arthritis a few years ago and > put on all sorts of meds -- For osteo or any condition ending in ~ " itis " , a protocol of 3 grams MSM with 3 grams Calcium Ascorbate [the non-acid form of Vitamin C] will bring the inflammation down without the anti inflamatory side effects of the meds she's been on.. This dose to be taken twice daily. It may take a few days to get up to speed but she should be dancing in the streets within a week. BTW, this works exceptionally well for Rhumatoid Arthritis. One caution however. As MSM is a powerful detoxifier, it might be wise to work up to the full dose. Like the first day take One gram MSM with one gram Calcium ascorbate twice and the second day 2 grams of each twice daily and full doses thereafter.. This will forstall any Healing Crisis symptoms. If she wants to stay Raw, then 6 pounds of raw broccoli daily would provide the MSM. For the IBS, make sure the pro biotic intestinal flora is healthy. Take several acidophilus/bifdus capsules daily before food and wash down with lots of water. Omega 3 from flax or flax oil will also help. And of course, the more raw food she eats, the better. rusty - " Karena " <karenacruse <rawfood > Monday, March 22, 2004 11:25 AM [Raw Food] Anyone with arthritis, osteoporsis, or IBS? > > > First, I want to again thank everyone for their GREAT > responses!
