I'm going to Vegas in a few days to see my sister and her

husband. We will be staying at the MGM - and I'm commited to showing

her how easy it is to add raw foods to her diet. I'm more than

excited to bring my blender with me and a cooler full of fruits and

veggies. I plan on finding the nearest grocery store as well, so we

can buy any foods that appeal to her.

My question is - what foods to people suggest getting. I'm

addicted to strawberry-banana smoothies but my sister can't stand

bananas. I'm also very nieve about veggies. I'm a celery and baby

carrot eater - but I'd like to show her a little more variety. Does

anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you so much!!!

I love blueberry smoothies.

Blueberrys require virtually no spraying so even non organic sources are

pretty much clean and in a pinch you can buy frozen packages at any food

store.

I add a tablespoonful of Greens Plus powder [or any spirulina based powder],

One Tablespoonful of Udo's choice blended flax oil, One teaspoon fiber [half

psyllium husk, half oat bran] and one free range raw egg to 1/2 cup of

blueberries, a tiny bit of water and blend until smooth.

If you like bananas you could add 1/2 a banana to it but it's ok without.

Watch out for a Blue mouth afterward however:)

HI Kc,

If you want to show your sister variety , take her to the raw food

cafe in Vegas. I went there about a year ago , it was wonderful. I

think there are two raw food cafes in Vegas. Good luck..
