Hello folks, If there is anyone from the Portland, OR area on this list, I have started a RawPortland Brian Clement, the director of Hippocrates Health Inst., has a little radio show and you can listen to the archives on the website, scroll down to the bottom http://hippocratesinst.org/library.html In one of the shows, it might be the Feb. 25 one, Brian says that we don't have a choice when it comes to drinking water. He says all tap water is contaminated with a dangerous chemical MTBE, which causes cancer. There are only two ways to get it out of the water- Distilled Water and the Wellness Water Filter. The distiller recommended by LivingNutrition.com is http://www.waterwise.com Here is info on the Wellness Filter: http://hippocratesinst.org/wellness.html http://www.treeoflife.nu/ewwater.html Brian Clement recommends the bottled water " Smart Water " which I've found in Wild Oats and Whole Foods. The website is http://www.glaceau.com/ Personally, I feel that something must be done to the distilled water before it is ready to drink. Here is a picture of distilled water, and the same water after various actions are taken on it. Scroll down a little more than halfway to see the picture of Untreated Distilled Water= http://www.wellnessgoods.com/messages.asp Gabriel Cousens writes in the link above if " you have a water distiller then you can add a little bit of Celtic salt and the product HydraCel, previously known as crystal energy, to the water and that can compensate for some of the problems. " With my drinking water, I use Grander http://www.grander.com , Tachyon http://www.planet-tachyon.com and M-Water= http://www.0disease.com/0watercrystal.html and the water prayer- http://www.thank-water.net/english/prayer.htm Quoted from http://www.mercola.com/2004/feb/7/water_fuel.htm " MTBE is also a carcinogenic compound and is so toxic that it is measured in parts per billion.
